Welcome to Homegrown. By placing an order with us, you agree to the following terms.
Our Produce
All of our produce is seasonal and grown to ripen naturally. This means availability may vary throughout the year, and items may differ slightly from what is advertised depending on growing conditions.
Where necessary, we may substitute items with similar seasonal produce of equal quality.
Ordering
Orders must be placed before the stated cut-off to be included in our weekly delivery.
Once an order is confirmed, we begin preparing your produce for harvest and delivery.
Delivery
All orders are delivered by hand to ensure quality and care.
We currently deliver on Fridays only across North Yorkshire, York, and surrounding areas. Delivery to wider locations may be available depending on demand.
Please ensure accurate delivery details are provided at checkout. If you are not home, safe place instructions can be left.
Freshness & Quality
Our produce is grown to ripen and is intended to be enjoyed at its best shortly after delivery.
As fresh food is perishable, natural variations in appearance and shelf life are to be expected.
Returns & Issues
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns.
If there is an issue with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery and we will do our best to resolve it.

What to include in the T&C document
Generally speaking, T&C often address these types of issues: Who is allowed to use the website; the possible payment methods; a declaration that the website owner may change his or her offering in the future; the types of warranties the website owner gives his or her customers; a reference to issues of intellectual property or copyrights, where relevant; the website owner’s right to suspend or cancel a member’s account; and much, much more.
To learn more about this, check out our article “Creating a Terms and Conditions Policy”.
